Description:


TOPICS fo the workshop:

explore the cultural dimension → express by language→ putting into practice themes of ethical fashion design in all its meanings:

1) how the design can contribute to increase the ecological respect re-designing dress/accessories and razionalizing the life cycle of products

2) how the design can contribute to widen the consumer target trough social responsibility and unfit users

3) how the design can contribute to increase the environmental sustainibility of fashion productions

4) how the design can contribute to increase the territorial value using a short distribution chain and using traditional materials.



GOALS:

elaborating ideas about the topics (in focusing group) → expressing design concept (in discussing panel)  → realizing prototypes and product models → showing results in the final event



Specification on the participants:

- Undergraduate on final year of course or postgraduate

- Fashion design and theory studies

- 3/6 participants for faculty

- compulsory attending for a min of 24/32 hours

- final certificate of skills for attending students

- course begins for  a min of 20 students



knowledge, skills and previous experiences required

- projects focusing on the themes of fashion design

- projects focusing on the themes of sustainable development
