Polish dumplings

The traditional polish dumplings can be filled with various  stuffing (sweet: strawberries, berries and salty: meat, sauerkraut).  My favourite contain white cheese (dry cottage cheese), mashed potato and onion. They are usually topped with fried onion and bacon.
